Maternity & Baby photography captures this
special time in your life. We aim to create special portraits you
will be proud to show off for years to come.
Maternity or pregnancy portraits are creative & artistic portraits
to capture the beauty of your belly as it matures with the special package
within. These sessions should be done in the last trimester of your
pregnancy. When you belly protrudes beyond your breast, you know it
is time for this session. With the creative use of shadow & light we
can hide what you don't want shown & accent what you do want. We
know your body goes through many changes during your pregnancy, be proud
of it, this is a beautiful part of being a woman! Don't worry about
your stretch marks, if you want them removed, there is no
additional charge to edit them out in post processing.
- what to wear? bring a black tube or tank top (too small is ok as it is
all about your belly) a black wrap or skirt. I have plenty of
fabrics to wrap you up in.
Caution, the maternity images are at the bottom
of this page, some may feel they should be rated PG for the amount of skin
... they are maternity shots ... so if you don't want your little ones
seeing a beautiful pregnant woman, please don't scroll all the way down.
Newborn and Infant portraits should be scheduled within the first 4
weeks of your baby's arrival. They are only this small & precious
for such a brief period of time, we suggest you schedule your appointment
for 1 to 2 weeks after your due date, so we don't miss this special time.
Please wear a black turtleneck during this session, this is also a great
time for skin on skin portraits. Parents, please bring a change of
clothes, in case you get wet during the session :)
3 month portraits are specially designed to capture your maturing
baby, they should be starting to lift their head & prop themselves up a
bit, now is the time to capture this special stage in your baby's first
year.
6 month portraits should be done once your baby is sitting up on
their own, now is the time for the cute factor, a cute outfit or theme
begins here
9 month portrait, can you believe it? your cutie is now pulling
themselves up and standing!!! watch out, walking is right around the
corner
1 year portrait, they are walking and seem to get cuter by the day
When the parents are included in these images, we recommend they wear
black turtle neck tops and dark pants/skirts,
infants to 3 months are usually shot in their skin, if mom and dad are
comfortable with this, we can creatively do skin on skin artistic
portraits,
don't worry, we won't photograph anything you wouldn't want to show
grandma :)
As we progress into the 6, 9 & 12 month sessions, we should plan on a
theme that will carry through each of these sessions,
it can be as simple as a flower girl or as elaborate as a fairy or a
fireman, or anything else you want ... let's make these sessions as
special as we can.
Sign up for the first year plan for $99.00, receive 50% off of your
maternity session, free newborn session (if done within the first 4
weeks),
and 25% off of all your sessions for the following 2 years, this includes
EVERY style of session, not only your baby sessions, but family portraits,
seniors, and any other style of portrait session we offer, plus your
pricing will be locked into my 2008 pricing
regardless of any price increases over the next two years, think of the
savings!! |
