     My name is Nina Sage, I'm a 45yr old widowed mom of a teen. My hubby passed March of 2007 from Primary CNS Lymphoma (he had multiple brain tumors). Caring for my full grown "2yr old" hubby for months changed my outlook on life, this experience has moved me to change my focus & give back. I have recently joined NILMDTS (Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep) which is an organization of volunteer photographers offering remembrance photography to those facing the loss of an infant.
Along with the above, I also proudly support Project Pooch which pairs incarcerated youths with homeless shelter dogs. and the Oregon Humane Society, If you know of another worthy cause that needs a volunteer photographer, please have them contact me, if the cause moves me, I will probably be willing to help them too :)

          I have been taking pictures since elementary school, was the yearbook photographer for my high school, and took photography in college. In 2003, I changed my status from serious amateur to part time professional, and since my hubby's passing, I am now a full time photographer, with 100% of my income coming from my photography. Because this is my full time job, I guarantee you excellent customer service, my reputation means everything to me. You will find me to be up front & honest about everything concerning our session. Before we begin a session, we will have discussed your needs & vision, throughout your session, I will hand you my camera to view our progress & to make sure we are capturing the images that you want. After our session, your proofs will be put online, on your own private webpage, for you to select the images you want edited. Once you make your selections, I will email you web sized versions of your edited images for your final inspection, before I send them off to print, so you are involved in the full selection process of your package.

    Photography creates memories for a lifetime, we capture a moment in time & every image is special. I take pride in my work, prefer to create the image correctly rather than "fix it later", light is my friend and there are many ways to use it to make the perfect portrait. If I could only shoot kids & pets, I would, but in reality, they have families, and families need pictures too, the kids grow up to be seniors, they get married, have kids & the cycle continues, I want to be your family photographer, for all your photography needs. I maintain a small studio downtown (am moving to a 2000 sq ft studio in Oct-2008), shoot boudoir in my home, can shoot pets in my garage, come to your home or we can shoot on location almost anywhere, I am fully portable, travel with a professional assortment of lights, backdrops & props.

     My phone is on 24 hours a day, although I prefer business related calls to occur between 7am & 9pm - 7 days a week, because of my NILMDTS affiliation, I do answer my phone 24/7. If, for some reason I don't hear it ring, please leave me a voice mail & I will call you back shortly.
